A week after the fire, the article below reports that "The investigation into the cause of the fire is still underway."

Last week, WSIL TV had a report that the fire was "not suspicious", but KFVS TV followed up the next day with a report quoting the state fire marshall as saying the fire WAS "suspicious".

Spontaneous combustion?

An "Act of God"...a firey prelude to the ice storm?

PS: Rumor has it that there was another fire that afternoon...a roll of toilet paper set afire in the "pod area". Wasn't there...didn't see it, but heard it first hand at the scene of the fire. IF true, then I guess God is into two-act plays...
