CAT Tracks for February 13, 2008 LAST EMERGENCY DAY

There will be no school in Cairo School District Number One on Thursday, February 13th...the third consecutive day this week. School was dismissed previously this year for the funeral of Julie Newell and a snow day on February 1st.

So...with Thursday, the District has exhausted the five scheduled emergency days for the 2007-08 school year. Therefore, any more days missed will cause an alteration of the school calendar...a loss of scheduled vacation days (Pulaski Day and/or Spring Break) or an extension of the school year beyond June 3rd.
