Ballard County students say they are proud of their new 19 million dollar school complex. That's why some students say they were shocked to see vandalism like this when they pulled into school.

Chris Rogers, "I mean its a brand new school they don't need to mess with it like this."

Andrew Hobbs, "Its disrespectful I really don't care for their attitudes."

Investigators say four teens are responsible. Three former Ballard County high school students, Christopher Scott, Dustin Bodey, Sean Merrit and a current student whose name can not be released because he is a minor.

The teens spray painted the schools parking lot, a water tank, even a dumpster.

Ed Adami, "There were a few offensive words about a relationship with a girlfriend and another one about a staff member. Silly stuff."

But four teens prank didn't go as planned. A Ballard County Sheriff's Deputy happen to drive through here, doing a routine check. The deputy caught all 4 teens red handed.

Ed Adami, "Disappointed that someone doesn't have enough pride to do this."

All of the teenagers were arrested but so far the cost of all the damage has not been determined.

Ballard County Schools Superintendent, Ed Adami relieved none of the new buildings were touched and wants to send a strong message to the rest of the student body.

Ed Adami, "I'm sure law enforcement will make an example of the three and we'll take care of the juvenile."
