Well...Vice President Burris (in the absence of President Griggs) called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. Also in attendance were Brown, Posey, Huff, and Gooden.

The agenda was quickly approved and no one from the audience (me) asked to be recognized.

A call was made for a motion to enter closed session. In a unusual move, a motion was made to go into closed session without the Superintendent...to call him in later. The motion was seconded and approved...although not unanimously.

The BOE voted to exit closed session at 7:48 p.m. (BOE member Gooden was not present.)

Chair Burris asked if any of the BOE members had anything to bring up after closed session...to which there was a negative response.

The BOE voted to adjourn at 7:49 p.m.
