KY: Fired School Teacher Could Appear on Dr. Phil

Fired Paducah school teacher Tericka Dye is appealing her dismissal and could soon talk to Dr. Phil about it.

Producers of the Dr. Phil show contacted Dye and her attorney to appear on a show about how choices made early in life can affect people later.

Dye was fired after an adult video she had appeared in more than a decade earlier surfaced.

Dye says appearing in the video as a 23 year-old was a mistake she made because she was broke in 1995.

She is a 2004 graduate of Murray State University and has appealed her dismissal to the school district.
