CAT Tracks for August 3, 2006 A CAIRO CITIZEN SPEAKS OUT...

...on the continuing conflict between the Mayor and City Council.

Been out of town for almost two weeks and just picked up my accumulated mail.

There is a loooooooooooong article in the August 3rd editon of the Cairo Citizen entitled "Mayor responds to council's Appropriations Ordinance". Started to chop it up and scan it for posting, but knew it would be quite a task. Then I noticed a letter to the editor in last week's edition...which seemed to take both sides to the proverbial woodshed.

Since so much of what each side says anymore falls into the category of "same old, same old", thought you might rather see what a "poor slob" has to say.
