CAT Tracks for February 26, 2007 TEACHER CHAPERONES WANTED

Just talked to Mr. Malbia...

The District is interested in sending fan buses to tomorrow night's boys' sectional game at Herrin, IL. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. and the Pilots play Pinckneyville. The District would like to have a "teacher presence" at tomorrow night's game because of the scrutiny that follows Cairo athletics...scrutiny that has been revisited as a result of the Cairo-Meridian game a couple of weeks ago.

Accordingly, the District is willing to pay $150 to teachers chosen to ride the fan buses...two per bus.

If you are interested, call CJSHS and leave a message that you would like to be considered.

Needless to say, the District...and the Pilots...would appreciate as many staff, students, and fans as possible making the trip to support the team and to exert positive peer presure on fans who might want to "show out".
