Wrapping for a good cause

Ryan Fowler was among the students helping wrap toys and clothing Wednesday at Brehm Prepartory School in Carbondale that will be given to needy children in Cairo this Christmas.

Students at the school raised $1,500. to purchase the gifts. Jennifer Conwell, spokesperson for the school of over a hundred students, said that this marks a continuation of the seasonal chairity effort by the students there. She said that the gifts will be distributed to elementary children in Cairo and that a monetary gift will be given to the Street Outreach Program in Cairo for older students.
