We've said it before...on many, many occasions...FOR YEARS! Unfortunately, it's still the "order of the day".

Case in point...

Just received my personal quarterly statement from the IEA Credit Union. My family is missing $275 of funds that were deducted from our paychecks and NOT TRANSMITTED.

Yes...the District is taking actions to "stop the bleeding" and to make corrections of past transgressions. BUT...if they don't know about it, they may not catch it...nor fix it!

No...you should not have to do this....it's not your job. BUT...it IS your money! No one knows that better than you!

Hopefully, in short order, this bi-monthly "adventure" will be over! For over 5 years, we have approached each pay day with great trepidation. We have heard a lot of "stories" of why the paychecks were (once again) wrong. The latest "rumors" have fueled our skepticism.

For now, we must place our faith in the District's efforts to "get to the bottom of this"...and to "return to the good old days"...back in the 20th Century. (Hey, it WAS all the way back in the 1990's!) You remember...when you didn't even bother to look at your pay stub...you knew it was right...you could "bank on it!"
