CAT Tracks for September 12, 2004 OMINOUS OMEN?

As you know, we received our annual statement in the mail last week indicating our employment status - including "salary schedule placement", yearly salary, and itemization of same.

Received word from several cautious CATs on Friday...the kind that check anything and everything related to their paychecks. (Wonder why they picked up that curious habit?)

Lo and behold...the folks being paid longevity...those above and beyond the final step on the published salary schedule...did not get "what we bargained for"...to the tune of (well) over $1000 each!

And...when concerned CATs contacted the finance department at the Central Office, they met with differing responses - first being assured that the (WRONG) amounts were correct (no surprise there), but then later (upon further review) being told that it was being "worked on".

So...AGAIN...as Wednesday looms...CHECK YOUR CHECK!
