CAT Tracks for May 8, 2004 POINT OF PERSONAL PRIVILEGE

At the beginning of April, I made a personal appeal for your support in the re-election of Julie Newell as the IEA "SOUTHERN SECTION ETHNIC MINORITY" Representative. The results are in...Julie Newell has, in fact, won re-election! Thanks to all who helped in this process. (In a separate ballot, Julie was also elected to another term on the IEA ESP Council.)

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank those who voted for me as a state delegate to the NEA Representative Assembly to be held in Washington, D.C. in July. I received notice this past week that I was elected.
