CAT Tracks for June 6, 2003 ALL SHOOK UP!

For those of you not in the area, a 3.8 earthquake just hit the heartland...7:29 a.m. A few seconds of noticeable shaking, but not of the damaging variety. Then, again, maybe it was the giant magnet under Commercial Avenue shifting...realigning for the coming year! (If you don't understand this last reference, just ask Professor Emeritus Dick Karcher.)

An ominous beginning to the summer...I certainly hope not! Then again, maybe it was NOT an earthquake...maybe it was simply the result of Cairo School District Number One employees waking up this morning and collectively jumping for joy when they realized that it was really, really true! The 2002-2003 school year if finally over!!!
