LOANS & NEGOTIATIONS

LOANS

Most of you were contacted this week concerning the IEA 0% loan applications...to determine IF you wanted the loan and if so...HOW MUCH.

EVERYONE who turned in an application at our May 28th "sign-up session" was called...twice if you did not answer the first time. Those loan applications were completed and sent to Springfield by FedEx (priority overnight) on Wednesday afternoon to arrive Thursday morning. (IEA had indicated that they wanted the forms by the beginning of next week...CAT did its part.)

If we could not contact you, we put in for the maximum amount that was available to you as reflected in the paycheck stub that you submitted. Should you not want the loan, it can be voided out at no expense to you. (If you did not attend the May 28th session, you did NOT get called. If you now want a loan, contact me immediately and we will do what we can.)

Again...the plan is that the loans will be available to you by July 30th. As soon as we hear something, that information will be posted on the website. Please...help spread the word to the "disconnected"!

NEGOTIATIONS

We have a date...agreed to by both sides! The first negotiations session since the close of school will be held on July 26th at 10:00 a.m. Both sides have submitted proposals for consideration...ours on June 25th and theirs on July 3rd.

Depending on your personal beliefs..."Keep your fingers crossed", "Pray", "Lend us your lucky rabbit's foot", whatever...
