Because this is the first edition of "What's New," we want to cover some basics that will improve your experience with OWL.org:

Why the profile is important... The member profile that you created when you registered allows you to receive features and information that are directly related to your interests. So, if you haven't completed your profile, do it today! Just go to www.owl.org and click on the "Change Preferences" link on the right-hand side of the page. We especially encourage ESP members to fill out the "Select your profession" field on the profile page, because OWL.org has a wealth of material tailored to their professional interests.

If you forget your password... Click on the "Forgot your Password?" link on the right side of the OWL.org main page. If you have any problems getting into the site, contact customer care at asktheowl@owl.org.
