CAT Tracks for April 22, 2002 FOR REAL OR FOR SHOW?

Well, it's official. The CAT received a letter Friday afternoon stating that the Board was willing to reopen negotiations. Contacts are being made and details are being worked out. The CAT...as usual...will enter the meeting with an open mind and try to negotiate in good faith. Hopefully the Board team will do the same. Both sides need to explore all possibilities, resolve the outstanding issues, and avoid a disaster similar to 1994-95.

At 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, the CAT received confirmation from the Superintendent that the Board bargaining team will meet with the CAT bargaining team on Monday, April 22nd at 1 p.m.

BUT...AGAIN...We are still on for TODAY - Monday, April 22nd, at 3:30 p.m. in the CHS Cafeteria.
