My sister, Christiana Bradshaw, has two web pages.
One of my professors and my advisor at the University of Iowa is Chris Culy.
Jan Boney is a professor of French at Cornell and a good friend of mine. She also was my first adviser.
John Gruber-Miller was my second adviser at Cornell. He is the classics department.
My German professor at Cornell was Charles Connell.
Liz Biermann is a zany friend who lived next door to me one year at Cornell. Her roommate was Jennie Peterson.
Suzanne Lyon was a graduate student in linguistics at the U of I, but now she is at Santa Cruz.
My mom met Claudia Barber and Garry Buettner when she went to college at the The University of Northern Iowa.
Garry now works as a researcher and professor at the University of Iowa. Claudia now is a nurse in the maternity ward and a lactation consultant at Mercy Hospital. Their oldest son Dan is my age. David is a student at the University of Iowa and will be studying in Japan during the 1999-2000 school year. Adam will begin studies at Cornell College Fall 1999. Elisabeth is in high school. Our families have spent lots of time together over the years.
David Espe and Kirk Shipler are two people I went to high school with at Sentral-Burt. They graduated a year before I did, but we had some classes together, most memorably TV French. David has been studying engineering at Purdue University. Kirk is, among other things, in a band in Minneapolis.
I've lost contact with most of my high school classmates, but I'd love to hear from them again. I did track down fellow 1993 graduate Chad Heinen who now teaches science at Sentral.
