The Clearing

Wandering onto the dirt path, you walk down it a ways and find yourself in a positively magical clearing. Very little light filters through the closely interwoven branches above, yet there is a luminance that provides enough light to see by. After looking around, you discover that the source of light is a pond in the middle of the clearing. Going to its edge, you look into the water and see that it actually glows. You wonder about the magical properties of the trees that grow here.

Looking up, you see a unicorn gazing at you from the edge of the woods. You jump up, but it spooks and runs back into the forest. You notice that where it stood is a tiny path that you almost missed. Wondering, you follow it.
