Inside the front door of the inn is the common room, where people eat, drink, and talk. A group of friendly people wave you over to their table.
Once you are seated, the man sitting on your right says to you, "We're arguing about medieval things. Have some tea!"
Sipping at the cup of tea, you look around. Bards are playing some quiet song in the background, and a desk sits near the entrance with a clerk behind it. Do you want to see what other visitors have had to say about Ashing's Enchanted Forest? Or sign in yourself?
A stairway leads upward in one corner, directly under where you seem to remember a tower. A door in one wall must lead to the kitchens.
