North College Hill City Schools instructional programs are designed to meet the needs of the individual student. The two elementary schools, Becker and Clovernook, have mixed age primary classes and serve students K-5. Learning activities require students to apply learning to real life situations.


Teacher student ratios are 1:23. In addition to classroom teachers, specialists are employed in music, physical education, and critical reading needs. Each building has access to a media specialist, guidance counselor, school nurse and educational aides.


Middle school programs are designed to transition students in grades 6-8 from elementary to high school. Sixth grade classrooms are self-contained, while 7th and 8th grade classrooms are departmentalized.


Teaching teams are organized at each grade level to better address middle school age student needs. Middle school curriculum is an extension of elementary instruction, emphasizing strong basic skills necessary for high school programs.


North College Hill High School offers a wide variety of courses at the base school for students grades 9-12. Over sixty cources cover a full range of instruction, including advanced placement classes at junior and senior levels.Over seventy-five percent of the student body also participate in numerous academic, athletic, dramatic and musical extracurricular activities.


Our school district is associated with Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development. The four campuses provide a comprehensive training for entrance into the job market or further training.


The experienced teaching staff is academically well prepared, with over 44.3% holding post baccalaureate degrees. Because of their keen interest in students, the dedicated staff gives numerous hours to assure student success and a wide array of learning opportunities. Our teaching staff is dedicated to this district with an average tenure of 12.9 years.


The support staff provides capable and loyal secretarial assistance, keeps buildings in top operating condition, prepares nutritious meals, and maintains safe busses for daily use.
