Pompeii is one of the best preserved Roman cities. Many mysteries have been solved by uncovering parts of this cities including the Roman's darkest desires. |
Now we leave Pompeii and head to across the Italian peninsula to the Adriatic Sea to the town of Brundisi to catch a ferry to Greece. |
This monument has Ancient ties, it marks the end of the Via Appia or the Appian Way. It was the most important and longest of all the Roman roads. It stretched from Brundisi to the east . |
