The group of columns on the left are from the temple of Saturn built in 498 B.C.E. , but the group of columns on the right are from the Temple of Vespasian , which was built by Emperor Domitian to honor his father. |
Upon this rock is were the roman dictator Iulius Caesar was cremated after his was stabbed to death by Cassius and Brutus. |

These are statues housed in the Vatican museum. They are the ones I think are the best out of the 40 photos I took in there. The one on the left is that of the sun god Apollo and that of the right is of the goddess of wisdom Minerva. |
Now that we've visited Rome let's head south for the city of Napoli (Naples) and the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. |
