Rome

Trip to Italy and Greece

The group of columns on the left  are from the temple of Saturn built in 498 B.C.E. , but the group of columns on the right are from the Temple of Vespasian , which was built by Emperor Domitian to honor his father.

Upon this rock is were the roman dictator Iulius Caesar was cremated after his was stabbed to death by Cassius and Brutus.

And of course the Colosseum

The arch of Constantine

A street sign in Rome which states that this is the Square of the Emperor Augustus.

These are statues housed in the Vatican museum. They are the ones I think are the best out of the 40 photos I took in there. The one on the left is that of the sun god Apollo and that of the right is of the goddess of wisdom Minerva.

Now that we've visited Rome let's head south for the city of Napoli (Naples) and the ancient Roman city of Pompeii.
