Parliamentary Procedure Q&A

Q: Can executive board members nominate other members of the executive board for re-election? - Anon., Dec. 17, 1999

A: Yes. They may even nominate themselves; however, H.M. Robert wrote, "it is scarcely conceivable that one would commit such an indelicate act. It implies that she has not one friend who is willing to nominate her, and lessens her chances of election." (Parliamentary Law, p. 466.)
