Q: If a member is under temporary suspension, does he still have a right to speak at the company meetings on any issues? - Anon., Nov. 19, 1999

A: No. The right to speak in debate is one of the rights suspended. However, the assembly may agree (either by vote or unanimous consent) to allow the suspended member to speak, just as it could for any non-member. See RONR p. 652.
