Parliamentary Procedure Q&A

Q: What is the proper way of formatting approved changes to the existing Constitution & Bylaws? Are the old rules also documented someplace or do they become a forgotten part of history? - T. White, Nov. 3, 1999

A: RONR leaves these issues to the discretion of the organization.

My own recomendations are to keep these documents as "clean" as possible, not indicating what has been amended but only the final product with the date of adoption or last revision (if any) and date of last amendment. Of course, it wouldn't be improper for the Secretary to archive previous versions.
