I am Commodore of a Boat Club.
Since we own property, we are also incorporated.
The officers of the club are on the board, plus the last three Commodores, plus two to be appointed by the new Commodore.
We hold elections once a year.
Should the club be run as a corporation or a club?

This is a question that may best be answered by an attorney in your state, or by your bylaws.
In my experience, clubs such as yours are run as if unincorporated, with provisions in their bylaws for disposition of property in case of dissolution.
