RONR does not draw a line saying that any behavior exceeding it is grounds for removal.
Instead, it leaves that decision up to the organization.
If you are in such a situation, you might consider having a committee formed to investigate the case, including an interview with the director.
If the committee deems it warranted to continue, the organization can hold a "trial" to determine what if any punishment should be required.
This is a complicated and delicate problem.
I strongly recommend you read Section 60 in RONR for the details.
