"Musts" For a Good Resume

* Know your readers - use vocabulary and info they can relate to

* Hightlight your most important accomplishments and skills and show what results you have produced

* Begin sentences with power verbs. Examples: organized, managed, designed, implemented, directed.

* Pick the proper format.

* Draft it first.

* Eliminate extraneous info. Examples: hobbies, height and weight, salary requirements.

* Limit it to one page.

* Critique it, have two or three people proofread it

* Make it beautiful. Use high quality paper--white, cream, or light grey. Use 20 lb paper stock.
