Beyond the horizon
As I peer out the window into the sky
I imagine of another dimension,
an unknown place, a mystical world of
blue and red stars, diverse animal life
and a region of mountains.
A place where there are no humans
just animal and plant life.
Creatures that are not endangered by
human destruction.
A place as pure as the water around it,
a paradise within itself.
A place where you can walk upon clouds,
breathe in fresh air that is sweetened by the purity of life.
where the sun shines down and glistens off the trees
and there is fresh berries to discover.
Violence is pointless in a place that is overpowered by love.
Nobody knows about this secret place,
where the birds flock together and fish swim in schools.
It is a place where crime has yet to be distinguished.
It is doubtable that people will find it,
for it is only a place where spirits roam,
spirits from within, the goodness in us all.
The angel we turn into goes there,
an angel that cannot touch anything,
an angel that cannot corrupt anything
an angel that cannot be anything.
People ask where such a place could be,
most say heaven,
But I say it is beyond the horizon.
