WHMIS experiments
Five experiments to show what the hazard symbols mean.
- Flammable: methane and alcohol.
- Corrosive: copper and nitic acid.
- Strong oxidizer: sugar and sulfuric acid.
- Incompatiblility of compound: glycerine and potassium permanganate.
- Dangerously reactive: nitrogen triiodide.
These experiments are done as demonstrations dueto extreme hazards asscociated with each reaction.
Make a list of each reaction, the observations and the hazard involved.
