Ron and Jacquie
Ron is retired from
the Air Force Reserves and is a civilian employee at Tinker Air
Force Base. He has a passion for history of all kinds; especially
the American Civil War. Jacquie has worked in the area of adoption
and as a counselor with adoptees, adoptive parents and releasing
parents, and is the parent of twelve children, two by birth, ten
through adoption at various ages. Jacquie enjoys *The Arts*.
Ron and Jacquie met through Maggie's Pub in the www and were
married at dawn on the 4th of July, l997 in Houston
Texas. It will always be a holiday and fireworks are guaranteed
every anniversary!
Sahra
Sahra 14, is an 8th grade
student at Monroney Junior High School. She is a typical teenager,
loves music, dancing and all that JAZZ. Sahra joined our family
at age eleven and has lived all over the world. She was born
in Tinker Hospital (deja vu) and lived in the US, Saudi Arabia
and Cypress, Greece before coming *home* to us.
Reuben
Reuben 5, has been in school since
three months of age. He is our *Bionic* little man. He was
diagnosed with porencephaly with spastic quadriplegia post a pre-birth
accident. He has had an Interthecal Baclofen Pump since November,
l996, and just had bilateral tendon releases done in December.
Reuben is intellectually gifted and physically challenged.
He was adopted at 20 days of age and is a root'n scoot'n ball
of fire!
Rachel
Rachel and friends at Sul Ross State
University. Rachel is 22 and a freshman at Sul Ross. She's having
the time of her life, finds learning exciting and has the goal
of becoming a physical therapist with a major in sports medicine.
Rachel joined the family at age 10 months. She has struggled
with ADHD and is winning!!
