Karuna Reiki®.

Karuna is a Sanskrit word which means any action that is taken for the eradicating the sufferings of the other's. It could be also termed as a "compassionate action". When, an individual experiences enlightenment, They get to know that all the beings are one. That is why, it is natural to extend Karuna without any bias as they know that we all are one.

    Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on earth. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by all enlightened beings. Thus, your healing becomes quick. It also opens up you to work more closely with the enlightened beings whether they are physically present as well as those in spirits.

Origin of Karuna Reiki® System.

    The Karuna Reiki® system was developed by Reiki Grand Master William L. Rand. The symbols were channeled by several other Reiki masters, including Marcy Miller, Kellie-Ray Marine, Pat Courtney, Catherine Mills Bellamont and Marla Abraham. William used the symbols and found them to have value, but felt that they had more potential then what was being accessed. He meditated on them and was guided to develop the attunement process and to call the new system Karuna Reiki®. Some of the Karuna Reiki® symbols are used in other systems, but they do not have the same effectiveness or healing energies in the Karuna system.

Features of Karuna Reiki®.

Karuna Reiki is different than Usui Reiki. The energy has a more definite feeling to it and works on all the energy bodies at the same time. Students report a feeling that the energy surrounds them and the patient instead of simply flowing through them. It also has effect grounding effect. Those who receive the attunements report experiences with their guides, angels, an higher self and feel the healing presence of other enlightened beings. The Karuna Reiki® system is divided into four levels, two practitioner and two master levels. The practitioner levels should only be taught to those who have done Reiki II and master levels to those who are Reiki masters as this is an advanced technique.

How to get the Registered in Karuna Reiki®?

Recently, The International center for Reiki Training (ICRT) headed by Mr. William L. Rand made the Karuna Reiki® a registered degree. Every Karuna Reiki® Master should be registered with the ICRT. Without registering, You cannot use the Karuna Reiki® certifications for the purpose of teaching it to other people as it is now a trademark of the ICRT. The prerequisite of getting registered is that you should be in the Lineage of Mr. William L. Rand or your teacher must be registered first with ICRT. It is a duty of a Teacher to get their students registered.
