Altar
First, you must obtain an altar. You might want to have storage space within it or even a lock. You also need a variety of ritual tools...They are the sword, dagger, staff, wand, incense burner, candles of various colors, incenses, a wine chalice, a water bowl, a gem bowl, a pentacle disk, a dragon pentacle, a dragon mirror, and ritual clothing. Some of these items are costly so, you may make your own.

Dragons of the Elements
Sairys- The ruler of the dragons of the east, the dragon of wisdom. Positive associations are:sunrise, spring, incense, the wand, the gong or bell, clouds, breeezes, the breath, optomism, joy intelligence, mental quickness, renewing, and any kind of helpful air.
Fafnir-The ruler of the dragons of the south, the dragon is associated with anger. Positive associations are:noon, summer, the dagger and sword, candles, censer, sun, blood, enthusiasm, activity, change, passion, courage, daring, will power, leadership, and any kind of helpful fire.
Naelyan-The ruler of the dragons of the west, the dragon of intuition. Positive associations are:sunset, autumn, the water chalice, compassion, peacefulness, forgiveness, love, intuition, calmness, peace of mind, and any form of helpful water.
Grael-The ruler of the dragons of the north, the dragon is associated with motherliness. Positive associations are:midnight, winter, wine chalice, ritual salt, dragon bowl, dragon mirror, gemstones,mountains, caves, soil, respect, endurance, responsibility, stability, prosperity, thoroughness, and purpose in life.
The dragons of spirit, white, and black, are at the center of the circle.
Protection
You could design a protection ritual or you can wear armor that is charge for th purpose of physical protection. Or you could get a shield to carry with you in your pocket.
I am going to explain this to you as it was explained to me. When you first draw energy, you light up a beacon. Imagine that you are looking at a piece of black paper with pinholes in it. This is you on the astral plane. Every one of those pinholes is a mortal. Now imagine that one of the holes becomes larger. More light is now pouring through the hole, that grabs you attention, Doesn't it? That is what a beginner look like to any parasites that are on the astral(vampires, lycanthropes, etc.) They roam around thinking "normal...normal...ahh, something to #@!! with!" and that can be a hazard. SO ALWAYS PROTECT YOURSELF!
Basic Ritual
This is the most basic of all dragon rituals. The practicing magician can insert their own music, dance, meditation, etc. But do not disrupt the flow of energy. Make any preperations so that nothing will disturb you!!!
Begin the ritual by going to the East, with sword in poer hand draw circle on floor and around ritual area. Imagine great flames shooting from it. Move clock wise around the circle overlaping east and say:
"By Dragon Power, This Circle is Sealed."
Return to altar. Point sword at Dragon pentacle and say:
"Dragons of Spirit, Highest of Dragons and Most Powerful, Bless this altar with your fire. Let us be one in magick, O Dragons great and wise"
Set the Water chalice on the pentacle. With wand in power hand, circle the chalice three times clockwise and say:
"Air, Fire, Earth, Bring Power Forth. Water of Land and Sea, Purified Be."
Hold the Chalice high and say. "Draconis! Draconis! Draconis!"
Sprinkle the water around the circled area beginning and ending in east. Set the dish of salt on the Pentacle. Circle it three times with the wand and say:
"Water, Air, Fire, Hear my Desire. Salt of Earth and Sea, purified be."
Sprinkle a few grains of salt to each corner. Circle the censer and say:
"Fire of Dragons, Fire of Earth, you are purified, Bring Power forth"
Circle the Incense and herbs three tiems with the wand and say:
"Incense magickal, incense bold, awake the dragons, as of old. I call you purified."
Put a small amount of incense onto the burning coals. Lift the burner by the chains and touch it lightly to the Penatacle. Liftit high over the altar and say:
"Draconis! Draconis! Draconis!"
Then carry it clockwise around the circle, beginning and ending in east. Return the burner to the altar. Take up sword in both hands and kneel before the Altar. Mentally dedicate yourelf to Dragon Magick. Project your interest and love for the dragons as strongly as you can. Continue this for several minutes, then rise and point sword at the dragon pentacle and say with power and confindece:
"Behold, all dragond and rulers of dragons, I am (magickal name), a Magician Who seeks Dragon Magick. With (name of sword)In my hand, i enter the realm of the dragons, not for physical battle, but for knowledge and power. I greet you, O Dragons Ancient and Wise, and await your blessing and guidance."
Continue holding the sword outsretched until you feel the blessing of the dragons. Whe nthe power of the Dragon's blessing has lessened, lower the sword. Still holding it in power hand, take up dragon pentacle in the other and go to the east. POint the sword at the eastern position and hold the pentacle facing outward. Draw a Invoking Pentagram with the sword and say:
"From sairys, Ruler of the Eastern Dragons Fair, Come Now the Wondrous Power of Air."
Feel the power of Air entering your body with sword outstretched. When the flow stops go to the South, hold up Dragon pentacle, draw an invoking pentagram with sword and say:
"From Fafnir, Ruler of Dragons of the South, comes cleansing fire from Dragon mouth"
*Feel power when it stops go to next direction and repeat as above.
Go to the west and say"From Naelyan Ruler of Dragons of the West, comes the power of water.
Go the North and say:"From Grael, Ruler of the Dragons of the North, the power of earth does now come forth"
Draw into yourself the power, when it stops return to the altar, lay aside the sword and Dragon Pentacle. Add the appropiate incense to the burner according to ritual you are performing. At this point insert chants and workings for the particular spellworking or meditation being performed. Or ask the dragons for advice on how to solve it. Continue to feel their power and follow their directions. Whe nfinishedd with the spellworking, tap staff three times and chant:
"I thank you, dragons of the old and wise, of earth and fire, waer, and skies, for sharing wisdom here with me. As we ill, so shall it be"
Always approach the dragons of equals not with force. Set the wine chalice on the Pentacle. aaCircle it three times with wand and say:
"Cup of Power, Cup of Might, Dragon Magick, Be here this night,"
Drink the wine, saving some to be poured on the fround later for an offering to the Dragons. If not possible to pour outside leave on the altar for an hour after the ritual. Now is a great tiem to dance or chant and invite the Dragons to share the energy of being a Magician. talk to them about hopes and dreams and see what they have to say. This is an opportunity for friendship.
Closing the Ritual
To close the ritual, take sword and go to each direction and draw a banishing pentagram and say correct wrods.
Banishing Pentagram
To the East, say:"Go in Peace, Dragons of East, and return again in the ritual hour"
To the South, say:"Go in Peace, Dragons of the South, and return again in the ritual hour"
To the West, say:"Go in Peace, Dragons of the West, and return again in the ritual hour"
To the North, say:"Go in Peace, Dragons of the North, and return again in the ritual hour"
Return to altar. raise both arms, say:"Farewell to you, O dragons Fair, Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. Together we make magick well by power deep and dragon spell. In Peace Go Now, Return onece more to teach me magick nad ancient lore. Draconis! Draconis! Draconis!"
Cut the circle with a backward sweep of the sword. Extinguish candles, clear the altar of tools except of offerings if they can not be pured outside.
This ritual is exactly for calling the Dragon and knowing that they are there. You can feel the presence of Dragons, they are a great power inside of your ritual circle. Take time to know them before asking for your help. All Dragon tempers are very sensitive.
Ritual of Calling
Supplies: Pentacle Disk, Dragon pentacle, water chalice with fresh water, salt, wine chalice, black and white altar candles, sword, wnad. incense burner, incense, dragons blood, dragon mirror, gong or bell, stafff, paper nd pen to write down any messages. Us e the Basic Dragon Riutal. Then hold sword in power hand ans staff in other while facing the altar tap the staff three times on the floor while holding the sword pointed at the Dragon Pentacle. Chant in tones that vibrate body:
"Come Draconis! By Your All-consuming Breath, I summon you. (tap staff three times)By your Piercing Gaze, I Summon You(tap staff three times)By Your Mighty Strenght, I Summon You(tap staff three times)By Your Wisdom Ancient and Cunning, I Summon You(tap staff three times)By Your Magick Deep and Old, I Summon You(tap staff three times)Come Draconis To My Call!"
Once you are done it will be possible to feel power being sent from all directions by the half-seen Dragons. Listen for messages. The Dragon's Presence can be felt by a sudden temperature change, prickly feeling between shoulder blades, unusual currents of air, if they are pleases with the Magician they often sound a deep vibrating rumble, almost like a Giant Cat's purr.
