Italian honey
Honey is one of the best energy-giving remedy, thanks to its content of carbohydrates in the form of sugars. It contains also small amounts of minerals and traces of the vitamins from B group and vitamins C, D and E. Every kind of honey has got different aromas, colours, density, features and tastes, depending on the areas of origin and the flowers the nectar has been drawn. We will distinguish: aromatic mono-flora honeys, produced with aromatic formations full of essential oils (limetree, thymus, eucaliptus etc..) and not aromatic mono-flora honeys (chestnut, fir etc.). The typical medicinal properties of plants act indirectly on the monoflora honey, even if in a smaller quantity and for some species negligible. Since honey is almost twice sweeter than the beet and cane sugar, to sweeten it is enough small quantities of honey.
