This is what the LORD says:
"As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes
and men say, 'Don't destroy it, there is yet some good in it,'
so will I do in behalf of my servants; I will not destroy them all.
...
I will destine you for the sword, and you will all bend down for the slaughter;
for I called but you did not answer, I spoke but you did not listen.
You did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me."

God knows when there is desire in our hearts.. sometimes we are at a place or a point where our lives/actions don't back up everything we believe, times when we can't find the energy to keep fighting but God knows when there is still something inside us and he works to bring it out! He never gives up on us amazingly enough!! It reminds me of the verse "
"A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
In faithfulness he will bring forth justice."
Isaiah 42:3
