The LORD will guide you always;

I love this verse!! It is a great promise for me that is conditional or contingent on the verses right before it. God promises me that if I have his heart... that I can be assured of him working in my life. I love that the promise isn't contingent on my being perfect, or getting everything right, or even having a great day... I just need to have the heart of God and I can rest assured that he will guide me always. Today this strikes a chord for me because I again need to do some things that are especially challenging for me... they cause me more than just a little bit of anxiety. But, I know for sure that if it is my heart to be like God, that if i make that my focus and as I am praying about things in my life that God is guiding me every step of the way. He will meet my needs, he will do in my life what is necessary.. he orchestrates the challenges and the times of encouragement. He ensures that I have exactly who I need in my life at just the right moment. He will give me the strength I need for the journey... every step of the way. Despite that fact that I will go through hard times I will be like a well watered garden. I'm not much of a gardener personally but I can tell the difference between one that is well watered and one that is not. There is a beauty, a health and a resilience to a well watered garden. Though it experiences a day of strong sun or bad weather... it bounces back quickly. That is what I can and will be like in my walk with God because of what God does in my life!!
