The US is complaining about how Canada is a haven for terrorists, and how two of the terrorists got into the United States from Canada. Well, okay. True enough, and they can say what they want. But why is Canada like renouncing its own policy or something? Apologizing like the dickens to the US. I don't see the sense.

Canada and the US are two separate countries. Neighbours and close friends, yes I suppose so. But not the same place. We don't have the same policies on many things. And we shouldn't. If we want to let terrorists into our country, then so be it. There's some kind of list of terrorist groups known to have some members in Canada, fifty groups or something like that. There are people in Canada saying, go in there and destroy all fifty groups, kill them all. Well, these people haven't done anything. It would be in violation of their individual rights to kill them all. All they've done is talk. Which is allowed. I could probably start talking about bombing Stanley Park or something, and I'll get CSIS or RCMP or something on my every move and I'll get added to the terrorist list. The point is, you can't do anything until they do something. What are you going to charge them with? Criticizing the government? Every single person in the country criticizes the government.

Moving along. Who let these people into the US? US customs. These people have to pass through US customs before they can step foot into the US. Well, okay. So....why didn't US customs stop them? How can it possibly be Canada's fault that US customs screwed up? It's US custom's fault. And....okay, so two of the terrorists came from Canada. Where the hell did the other 18 come from? How did the other 18 make it past customs? Canada is being singled out unfairly, insensibly, and rather ridiculously. And Canada is begging forgiveness. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
