seatbelt police. cops are starting to check for seatbelts. how do they do
this? they pose as window washers on street corners. if they see that
you're not wearing a seatbelt, they signal the guy around the corner who
gives you a ticket after you make the turn. there are a number of things
that make this so much bullshit in my opinion. one is the whole seatbelt
issue in the first place. the way i see it, the job of the police is to
protect people from other people or other events. outside things. but if
somebody is not wearing a seatbelt, the only consequence of that is to
himself. it's not safe for that guy. but it doesn't make it any less safe
for anybody else. if he chooses not to wear a seatbelt, then that's his
choice. if he wants to live dangerously, why not let him, as long as he
isn't harming anybody else? the police have not made skydiving illegal.
they haven't made smoking illegal. they haven't made insulting your wife
illegal. obesity is as much a killer as watching tv and as not wearing a
seatbelt. why is wearing a seatbelt any different? so that's point one.
seatbelts should not be regulated by the law. i mean, even looking at other
cars. they don't make it illegal not to have airbags in your car. you
know? point number two has to do with the way they're going about it. now
i don't know about you, but i hate window wipers. for one thing i'm always
afraid that they're going to jack my car or mess me up or something when i
tell them to fuck off. well i don't tell them to fuck off, i politely wave
them away. because of course i'm afraid that they'll mess me up. but
inside my head i'm thinking fuck off you good for nothing bum. some of
these characters, if you haven't noticed, are pretty scary looking. look
like goons. or at best, punks. with fake limps and everything. and in my
opinion, the cops should be doing the best they can do get rid of these
people. instead, they become them. and now i have to be worried about
getting jacked by people who are actually cops. is it my imagination or is
that fucked up? and the last point. the last point is this. what the hell
are the cops wasting their time doing shit like this for. last night,
another korean exchange student got assaulted and raped. that's the third
one this month. HELLO? the first one i think is still in a coma? maybe
she's dead now, i don't know. the cops say the cases are unrelated. three
korean exchange students get fucked up in a month, two in less than a week,
and the cops are saying that they can't do anything about it, that it's all
unrelated. get off the fucking street corner, take a fucking shower, put on
your fucking uniform and stop these poor korean chicks from fucking getting
RAPED!!!!!!!!!! i was wrong. the goddamn cops are WORSE than the goddamn
window wipers. at least those guys i can tell to get lost. these cops are
taking my tax money and jacking off all day doing shit! good for nothing
lousy low down fuckups. it really makes me mad. i often think that cops
are in league with criminals in fucking up normal law abiding citizens like
myself. both screw us. it's just one group does it legally.
