Go vote guys. How stupid is this? I mean really. Does anybody else ever get the feeling that Jean Chretien is a complete dunderhead? Does the guy have no national pride? It doesn't get any more kowtowing towards Americans than this. A rising Canadian star like Mike Weir....a faltering American who is seen by most people as way too overhyped. And this would be at the ACC I suppose? A Canadian tournament. What the heck?

Who exactly is Chretien's PR guy? This is not the first time that Chretien has come across as a complete ass. It's not even the first time that he's come across as something other than Canadian. It really does boggle my mind to think that he managed to make it into his third term as prime minister. What were we thinking? Perhaps that's what you get for electing a Quebecois to be the leader of Canada. But this guy was like a protege of Pierre Trudeau wasn't he? Old Pierre couldn't have been that bad a teacher. What happened here? Sometimes I wonder.....maybe we really should get rid of the dreaded first past the post electoral system. Damn.

In conclusion....Tiger Woods is cool. But Mike Weir is cooler. And Jean Chretien is not cool.
