Note: A free outdoor show a la the Beatles and the Summer of Love. Despite the massive crowd, the police kept traffic flowing on Broadway. Thus, my view of the opening chord of the first of the two Scents & Subtle Sounds was blocked by a delivery truck! Also, my buddy Eldad was pictured in a crowd shot published in the next day's New York Times. We were not able to meet until after the show due to our not having met up before the show. I was standing at the northeast corner of 53rd and Broadway when the police put up a barricade to surround those of us standing at that spot. Thus, I was accidentally forced into a great spot.
