Unhealthy the silence,
as our minds ponder the meaning behind the words we say.
hiding our feelings,
wanting no one to know
the blackness behind the facades
we are running,
longing to be caught,
but dreading the outcome if we are not.
we will wait, one more day of intolerable bleakness,
timeless monotony.
So welcome the laughter, temporary releif from life's pain,
until reality returns,
heightened by my escape....
one more day,
then another....
understanding thwarted by unwarranted hope.
