We begin at the Be-gone factory, where the Rovers are taking care of some cano-mutants put out by Parvo. Seriously outnumbered, the Rovers release Muzzle who cleans up the mess. The Groomer admires the rottweiler and Parvo decides to go another way as for armies.
Later, Professor Atwater discusses his research on bugs, his audience watching in only slight interest. Atwater asks for funding for his research, but receives instead laughter and desertion. However, one member of the audience approaches him. It's the Groomer, and she hands him a blank check to fund the research from General Parvo. Professor Atwater is very pleased.
About a year later, Atwater treats some bugs to radiation, making them stronger than ever. Parvo enters the laboratory to check up on his progress. Atwater objects to the secret building in his lab, which Parvo reveals as a Bug-mutator. He uses it to transform the bugs Atwater was working on to create large monster bugs which call Atwater "father" and turn against Parvo unless Atwater tells them to. Atwater now has an edge against Parvo.
In the meanwhile, a famous dog biscuit factory popular among the Rovers explodes and the Master discusses the inactivity of Parvo's actions. The Rovers go to the factory to check it out and find tracks leading away from the debris. The tracks lead to another complex inhabited by Parvo's gang and his bugs. The bugs are ordered to demolish the Rovers, but the Rovers release Muzzle.
Curiously, after some time, the Rovers don't hear Muzzle's usually sounds of demolition. Instead, he is cuddling over Greta, another rottweiler from which the bugs were taken from. The bugs attack the Rovers now, and when they are about to finish the job, Atwater orders them to stop. The bugs do stop, claiming that the Rovers are not their true enemy. They run off while Parvo, the Groomer, and Greta follow them. The Rovers take Atwater and follows the rest of the people to a nuclear power plant. The bugs plan to explode the power plant and rule the world.
The Rovers are kept busy with two of the three bugs while the third one heads for the reactor. And to prevent Muzzle from total demolition, he releases Greta. However, upon seeing Hunter interrupting their romance, Greta pouts and returns to the ship. Muzzle is so angry that he starts taking out his rage on the ship. The ship is taking a big beating.
Inside the power plant, Hunter wears an anti-radiation suit and eventually sends the bug flying outside where the other two bugs are still losing the fight. The bug is not through, however, as he prepares to throw a big block of concrete on top of the Rovers. Colleen kicks the block into smaller pieces, but one of those pieces knocks Atwater out. Distraught over his deeds, the bug stops long enough for Exile to use his special recipe of ice to freeze the bugs in place.
Even still, Muzzle is taking apart Parvo's ship. Greta appears at the window to look at Muzzle who sees her as well. But Muzzle comes to his senses and turns his back on her and leaves. Parvo's ship then escapes and the day is saved.
Back at HQ, the bugs are transformed back to their normal size and sent to the sanitarium where Atwater is being held along with some other friends we know of, and ends our eighth episode.
