The gardener was some what in a state of shock
at what was happening to him. Why was he experiencing all of this?
He had only come to this thicket to improve upon it presents so
that it might be more beautiful to those who happen to walk upon
it's path. He was knowledgeable as a gardener and could improve
this area. He knew what was needed, so why was he being exposed
to this experience? He stirred just a little, almost afraid that
as he touched something he would be given more information than
what he wanted to digest. He slowly leaned his head back against
the tree. The light of the sun struck his eyes and he move slightly
to the side to get out of the direct ways of the sun. As the light
danced lightly upon the ground, it glistened off of the grain
of sand that he held earlier. As this small bit of light entered
his eye he knew that once again he was about to take another step
on his journey. He cold sense the light give up it message. "I
am light. It is I who sheds brightness upon your path so that
you might be able to see where you are going. It is I who gives
dimension to all things as I cast different shadows over you depending
from where you are as you view your journey. It is I that causes
growth. In darkness there is no growth. It is darkness that truth
is hidden. It is in darkness that there is no harmony. It is in
darkness that there is no truth. It is not that darkness is not
necessary, for in darkness there is rest that is needed for new
growth. It is in darkness that time is given for reflection on
what has been received in light With out my light there would
be no growth. I am an energy that will bring about change. I am
energy that shows the way and I am the essence of truth. It is
in reflection that I give hope to the night. In one way or another
I am absorbed by all things, and in one way or another I am reflected
by all things. I am constant and I am ever present. I choose not
upon who or what I will strike. I am too intense to view directly
and if not absorbed at a rate that what I am striking is conditioned
to received, I may cause damage. Even though I am always present
there are times that I will be hidden by the shadow and I may
not be perceived. When the shadow is removed, I begin to be felt.
There is a proper season for each and in this cycle I am allowed
to light the path and activate growth. I choose not what should
grow by my presents and what should be dormant. When the season
is in its proper cycle each attribute will know when to receive
me. The growth that I activate may be by a reflection of me. Even
in this reflection I am ever present and my energy is not lost.
This just means that something other was necessary for my light
to be seen. If you can equate me to wisdom you will be on your
road to growth. As my energy is released, it continues on forever.
There is no beginning and no end. Just a constant cycle of expansion
and drawing to the center. Only as you draw closer to the center
will you understand how this can be. In the light, there is no
destruction, only change that leads to growth. All is part of
the cycle toward harmonic co-existence. As you view me you see
but a very small part of what I am about. As you look at a plant
and see the color green you are viewing an abstract of what is
being absorbed by the plant. In this process you see color. Color
and shade are only created as an illusion by the absorption of
an object of light. This process gives definition to and creates
a form that you see. This is not the true form which is much different
but is real to you from your view point which is limited in understanding
of truth. You can receive me only as small portions and in many
different forms and as you begin to perceive these in their totality
then you begin to understand what I can do and how every aspect
of nature is dependent on every other aspect. Growth in life and
harmony is exactly the same. We are one and the same. There is
nothing that I touch that I do not affect and the same is of you.
I can not chose how I will affect anything, that is determined
by what I come in contact with. In life you do have a choice as
to how you will affect all that you touch. It can be positive
or negative. If it is negative it will be viewed as negative or
a positive, but in time only as a negative. If it is positive
it may be viewed as positive or negative depending on the position
and growth of that which you touch. In the proper time it will
be viewed as positive. If you understand this, you need to make
every contact be one of a positive nature. It is in this way that
you reflect the light that you have absorbed, which brought about
the growth in you so that you could bloom." By now the gardener
was almost afraid to move. he needed time so that he might begin
to digest all that was happening. Everything was happening so
fast. He wanted time to try and better understand all that he
had been given. He did not want to forget any of what he had been
receiving. Little did he realize that once the path of growth
was tread upon, there was no forgetting, even when one wished
that he could. His journey was underway and once started there
was no going back.
