Lesson 4
I hope that the previous lessons have proven to be helpful in understanding yourself better. The following lesson #4, is different then the last three. Lesson #4, is looking at the numbers which people have come to believe can tell a great deal about yourself. All information for this lesson can be found in my B0S under the Introduction, you can find the Nine-Year Cycle there, as well as the Personality Profile. Good luck and keep up the good work.
1. Finding your Birth Number. Make sure you have an accurate date of
birth. eg October 3rd 1977 Put a plus sign (+) between each digit, including zeros; then add all of the digits to get a sum. eg. 1+0+0+3+1+9+7+7=28 Once you have added all of the digits of the birth date and reach a sum, put a plus sign (+) between the two remaining digits and add then together to reach a final sun. eg. 28 = 2+8=10. For birthdates in the twentieth century, you will always end up with a final sun of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12. Write the complete birth number as the
orgiginal sum followed by the final sum, and separate the
funal sum from the first two digits with a slash mark (/).
In the original sum of 28 is followed by a final sum of 10:
28/10. Depending on the date of birth, you will end up with a birth number of three or four digits. eg. Three-digits birth numbers: 21/3, 27/9, 30/3, 32/5. Four-digits birth numbers: 28/10, 29/11, 39/11, 48/12. Left-hand or right hand digits fall to the left or right of the slash mark (/), repectively. Although all of the numbers and the energies they represent are significant, the numbers to the right of the slash mark have a stronger influence in terms of life purpose.
Your Nine-Year Cycle The Law of Cycles, reminds us how the cycles and spirals of time look back on themselves In endless repeating patterns and rhythms. We also experience smaller cycles, not often noticed in the business of everyday life - repeating patterns of energy that appear, disappear, and reappear, cycling upward in time, rising ever higher as we learn the lessons of life, rising towards our destinies. The primary numbers 1 through 9 provides keys to one kind of cycle. The value in observing the rhythms and patterns of our life is that if we can synchronize our personal desires with the larger forces and rhythms, we can harness the power of good timing; we ride the crest of each wave of energy as we swim with the current in river of time, developing a refined attunement to the natural world. Write your month and birthday, but substitute the present year for your birth number. eg. The year is currently 1998, so to get the energy of this year; I would write a birth date, substituting 1998 for the year of birth: 10-03-1998.. Follow the steps with your day and month of birth with the present year, using the same procedure you've just learned. eg: 10-03-1998 becomes 1+0+0+3+1+9+9+8 = 31 = 3+1= 4, which is near the mid point for a nine-year cycle, with 4 standing for Stability and Process. Your cycle always begins on your birthday.
Answer all the following questions to the best of your abilities .2a. What year where you born in? 2b. Write the following year, beneath that, write the next year, then the next, and so on to the present day. (depending on your age this could take some time.) 2c. Beginning as far back as you can remember, write down significant events that come to mind, both positive and negative, next to each year. The insight you gain from this exercise is directly related to how many significant events you write down, but even a few events and the years they happened can be eyeopening. 2d. To the left of your year you where born, write your primary life purposes (1 through 9, or 10, 11, 12); for example, if your birth number is 33/6, write a 6 to the left of your year of birth; then, for the next year, you'd write a 7, then an 8, then a 9, then begin again with a 1, a 2, and so on, for every year of your life, continuing through nine-year cycles to the present. Now you can see where you were in the nine-year cycle for each year of your life. NOTE: if your primary life purpose contains two digits (as in the case of 39/12), you need to add these two digits (1+2, in the case of 12) to find your place (3 in this example) in the nine-year cycle. 2e. look back at all of the 1 years, the beginnings of new cycles, and see how this fits; then look at the 2 years (cooperation), and see if this reveals anything related to events in your life. Continue for years 3 through 9. 2f. Where any years particularly good? 2g. Did you notice any repeating patterns? 2h. When an 8 year brought rewards or abundance, what did that tell you about the years leading up to it? 2i. If you kept holding onto old patterns right through a nine-year cycle into the next cycle, how did that effect your life?
