My name is Diane Adams and I was born and raised in the 'Black Country' town of Dudley, which sadly no longer lies within the County of Worcestershire. In 1980 I moved to the City of Worcester with my husband and it was then that my interest in family history started to develop. My own personal research became so successful that friends started asking me to help them, the word started to spread and over the years I found myself undertaking all kinds of research requests. During this period of learning I studied extremely hard on the subject in theory, however it was the demanding "hands on" practical work experience which I gained within a variety of Record Offices around the country that gave me the best knowledge of all.

From this 'Worcestershire Family History Research' developed and I am now kept very busy receiving genealogical enquiry's from all over the world. A major turning point for me in the last three years has been the introduction of WFHR services on the Internet. The web site now receives many visitors each day and also hosts the very popular Black Country Bugle Newspaper.
