How beautiful are the hands, The blessed pair that we are given, Created from the perfect image Of God, our Father in Heaven. To each and every person, "A unique set just for you," Never copied nor imitated, Never borrowed nor used. And how that Beauty emanates! It touches an honor esteemed high, When one uses them to undertake His ordained purpose in life. The steady skill of the Carpenter's fingers That find all measurements precise, Gives credit to the Powerful Pull of the Palm That Jesus yielded in sacrifice. Diligent in labor and faithful in love, His hands continue to work away, Providing help for a hopeless world To someday reach that eternal place. All may, at once, fail to understand, They may even falsely accuse, But reach out in faith with the beautiful hands That God has given you.
"Then he said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.'" - John 20:27
