Happy Autumn greetings to all! As you’ve all noticed, the air is a little crisper, the time has changed, & it’s the season of harvest. If we have planted good crops(referrals, services), then we will reap the benefits(placements!). Now is also the time to begin enjoying the benefits that membership in IAPES has to offer.

Keep in mind that this is our professional organization. It helps to provide education, awards, scholarships, & legislative action to help us keep our positions.

For me, the greatest benefit it provides isn’t written anywhere. It’s the feeling of fellowship & connectedness. It was very much present at our institute in Greenville, at all of our mini-institutes, our conventions, & the day-to-day experiences that we have & share as co-workers & as friends. We have built up an outstanding organization over the years by tapping into the best of resources-our members. Those of you who have renewed your membership already know this, & I thank you for making the commitment again. For new members, welcome aboard, & I hope you will take advantage of all IAPES has to offer. And for those FEW folks who haven’t joined YET, come on in-the harvest is plentiful & just keeps getting better.

As the holiday season approaches, I hope all of us will take a moment of each day for reflection. Remember those who have served our country, those not as fortunate, those we know &love, & those we don’t know. Share something with someone. Your harvest will be abundant.
