The Lumberton JobLink Career Center staff raised $556.50 for the March-of-Dimes Walk America on March 27, 1999. Walkers braved the 5 mile walk on a bleak Saturday Morning. Participants in the walk included Jeanette Baker, Tammy Beasley and her mother, Katherine Bethea, Geraldine Green, Bob Rozier, Dorothy Moody, Lisa Von Rupp, Arlene Chavis, and Myra Woodard and her children (ages 7 & 11).
