"And they all lived happily ever after." Yeah, right. That's how it was supposed to be...Ten years and six kids later, it was more like "okay for a while." Chaz -- y'know, Charlie, my Prince Charming -- isn't much of a charmer anymore. At least, not with me. i have noticed that Lynn, my main lady-in-waiting, has been smiling a lot more lately. And i found a perfumed letter in his pocket when i was refolding his pants the other day -- yes, i had to refold his pants. Even a princess can't find good help these days!

But it's no wonder that he's found a "lady-friend" -- i'm sure nothing much to look at these days. Six kids -- six! -- all under the age of 8 -- including one pair of identical twins. My hair is always flat, i'm constantly tired, i've got thunder thighs like you wouldn't believe...and as for my feet, well, the only slippers i wear these days are those fluffy cow slippers Amy gave me for Mother's Day. i couldn't wear those glass slippers even if i could find them: the heels are about four inches high, and my ankles swell...and besides, Chaz liked those heels just a little too much. Now, don't get me wrong, i'm all for men showing their feminine sides, but there is a line which shouldn't be crossed, and with Chaz, well, i'm never sure.

But look at me! i went from cleaning up everyone else's messes in a dirty little shack, to cleaning up everyone else's messes in a huge fancy castle! Aside from the crown, i'm just a typical housewife: overworked, overweight, overstressed, underpaid, unappreciated...and unloved. Where's that fairy-godmother when you really need her?
