When you walk with God
His love encompasses your life.
His glory can be seen in the golden sunrise
Or the last raindrops clinging to a branch.
He can be found in nature
Or in the hearts of his people.

When you stray from his path
Your relationship with him withers.
His love for you seems dormant,
Forgotten as the remaining leaves
On the bare trees of winter.
Life becomes meaningless and empty.

But remember He is waiting full of love.
When you seek Him out
Your relationship can begin to grow;
Sprouting from the seemingly dead wood,
Blossoming like cascading roses,
Touching the lives of those around you.
