How I got started
Hi my name as you might have guessed is Rowan WhiteRain. This is my chosen name, not given. I chose this name for use in my
Magickal and Spiritual journey. I was raised Southern Baptist and as a child was very happy there, but as time went on and I grew into a teenager and went to MANY churches. I went with friends,neighbors,and boyfriends, but found nothing I could hold onto. As a child I knew that my family had always been open to exploring the indivdual needs of a person, and as a country girl I was aware of the life and death that nature could bring. After I was married I met a very nice lady and as I began to know her she told me a little about Wicca. I became interested and began reading all I could find. That's when my husband and I got transfered overseas. In the place where we were transfered to there is little resources to be had on Wicca, but "WOW" I found the internet. I found great bookstores on line and have become a Solitary Practioner.

As a Witch I am happier than I have been for a long time. I will not tell you it's because my life is without problems, because I'm still human, but I have found time to look at life and worship in a way I find appropriate and *enjoyable*. Well enough about me please go on and enjoy the rest of my pages and keep an open mind. You may find something you believe in.
Well there have been many changes in my life recently and I am hoping to upgrade my page soon. I will be adding somethings here that will reflect my growth and also stuff that I know *two certain* people will be using =). In recent months I have come to realize that many of the people I know and love were looking for a place of spiritual love and understanding.. Well needless to say I opened my big mouth and they are now looking into Wicca, but let's remember that we as Witches' don't preach *the one and only way*. We don't believe that so, we don't preach it, but after a talk with these two very special people I know that they will find happiness and welcoming into the Craft..
I have been so busy with *life* that I have not had time to update my page. For that I have no excuse, but if the planets align for me then I will be doing many updates in the next month.
It was (and still is) my hope that these pages are of use to you. I only wish to share some small amount of knowledge that I have with you on your journey. May the Lord and Lady walk with you in this life and show you a happier path to them.
